Eddie is CEO and Chairman of the Cannabis Capital Group. Eddie brings deep expertise and intimate knowledge of the medical cannabis sector to CCG.

The former minority leader of the Arkansas House of Representatives, Eddie has been at the forefront of the fight to expand the availability of medical cannabis. Prior to his career as a legislator, Eddie served as the manager for state and government affairs at Tyson Food, and was responsible for monitoring all state legislative and regulatory matters in 18 states, affecting all areas of business of the Fortune 500 Company. He also has cultivated extensive links within the medical and clinical science communities, having served as a business development officer for Pathology Partners Laboratory and as growth development strategy principal for Phoenix Labs.

Eddie works with clients on the nitty-gritty aspects of licensing applications and compliance. He has a track record of success, having led the development of the highest rated cultivation license application in the state of Arkansas.

Eddie’s expertise as a communicator makes him a forceful advocate for clients and for the industry, and his vast political and business network spans numerous states. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Dr. Williams is CCG’s chief medical officer. He has practiced as a gastroenterologist for more than 30 years and been a consulting physician at numerous hospitals.

In addition to his work with CCG, Williams currently serves as gastroenterologist and medical director for Arkansas Diagnostic Center and Kanis Endoscopy Center, a fully accredited out-patient surgery center in Little Rock, Ark. He also serves as CEO of Pacific Coast Management, which owns and manages over 25,000 sq. ft. of healthcare real estate and provides practice management for several private practices.

In addition to being an accomplished physician and expert in the clinical benefits of medical cannabis, Williams is an experienced investor and operator in the sector. He built and led a syndicate of like-minded healthcare professionals in the development and construction of one of Arkansas’ first cultivation facilities. He brings this experience to CCG in addition to his medical expertise. With an unparalleled personal and professional network in the medical sector, Williams can leverage deep insights to fully understand the potential and opportunities of new medical cannabis products, as well as educate medical professionals on the clinical benefits of medical cannabis.

Williams received his bachelor’s degree in zoology from Arkansas State University in 1973 and his MD and specialty training from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1979. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology in 1984. He has also served on numerous boards, including 24 years on the Arkansas State Medical Board and the Arkansas Medical, Dental, Pharmaceutical Association.

Sherra is President and COO of the Cannabis Capital Group. Sherra is a medical public relations and marketing pro, and brings 11 years of experience leading her own firm to CCG. She is intimately familiar with the needs of medical product marketing, having executed successful programs for a number of institutions, including Covenant Surgical Partners, Pathology Partners Laboratories, Arkansas Diagnostic Center, and Kanis Endoscopy Center. She has also developed messaging strategies for the Arkansas Human Development Corporations.

In addition to her wide medical marketing experience, Sherra brings firsthand knowledge of the medical cannabis sector to CCG. She was instrumental in winning a cultivation license for clients in Arkansas. With Eddie, Sherra oversees the Armstrong Family Foundation whose mission is to provide college scholarships to minority students from single parent households. She is also proud member of Chi Eta Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

John is the Cannabis Capital Group’s Chief Investment Officer. John provides clients with investment solutions, managing access to CCG’s proprietary investment platform, as well as preparing investor materials and education.

John brings extensive experience from the venture capital and biotechnology investing world to support the goals of clients looking to raise capital, cultivate deals, or sell their assets.

Robert is Director of Operations of the Cannabis Capital Group. Robert is a recognized expert in cannabis cultivation and manufacturing operations management. As co-founder of Natural State Medicinal Cultivation in Little Rock, Arkansas, Robert has been instrumental in getting a large-scale medical cannabis cultivation facility up and running.

Robert is also plugged into the political landscape both locally and nationally, and is currently serving as president of the Arkansas Cannabis Industry Association, a position he has used to educate policymakers, healthcare professionals and patients. Robert is also the founder of CLU Solutions, an enterprise resource planning solutions firm through which he has provided extensive IT consulting services to companies in Colorado’s medical cannabis industry. Additionally, Robert founded a company dedicated to the formulation and manufacture of hemp-based (CBD) health and cosmetic products.
