Social equity has been in the public discussion for a while now, but its importance has been made crystal clear in light of the recent social upheavals and demonstrations for racial justice. It is a sad truth that minority communities have suffered most from systemically unfair, and sometimes racially motivated, marijuana laws. 

To reverse an injustice so deeply embedded in our laws, our economy, and our communities, we need to take social equity seriously – and put it into practice.

On June 17th, CCG’s Eddie Armstrong joined a panel of leading experts to discuss the state of social equity in the cannabis industry, and what we can do to make it a reality.
